To achieve a satisfactory result, you will need to add maple syrup, oil and coconut milk to the cake mix.
First runs of any product can be a bit of trial and error, and we found that the end product of our carob cake mix came out a little different than all of our baking sessions revealed. It is a very lightly sweetened, but rich dessert, and we recommend adding a frosting to complement the almost chocolate flavor. Our favorite is the coconut date frosting recipe in our recipe section under German "Chocolate" Cake. Make it with or without the coconut flakes.
